Brittany's Gingersnaps

3/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup molasses
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
1 tablespoon ginger
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Cream shortening and sugar, add molasses and egg, then dry ingredients. Roll into balls and roll balls in sugar. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes.
